JCT 2016 Update & Contract Law
JCT 2016 Updates, part of our continued CPD events for this year.
The Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) released the first batch of their ‘2016’ contracts towards the end of June 2016 This included the Minor Works (MW) and the Minor Works with Contractor’s Design (MWD). This was followed at the end of September by the Design and Build Contract (DB) and the Standard Building Contract on November 16.
JCT also issued the following amendment sheets for its 2011 edition of JCT contracts, covering the CDM Regulations 2015, which are effective from 6 April 2015. Contract Law is a subject that all contracts should have an understanding.
